30 Cylinders of SF₆ Loaded and Shipped to Peru

The shipment of 30 cylinders of Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF₆) for export to Peru was successfully loaded into one 20-foot general purpose container on February 2nd, marking the commencement of its international logistics phase.

Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF₆) is a premium inert gas renowned for its exceptional insulating and arc-quenching properties. It is primarily used in high-voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, and substations within the electrical power industry, serving as a critical medium to ensure the safety and stability of power grids. Beyond this, it also plays vital roles in semiconductor manufacturing, metal processing, and specialized medical equipment (e.g., in ophthalmological surgery). To guarantee the safe storage and long-distance transport of this high-pressure liquefied gas, specialized high-pressure cylinders are employed as the essential packaging. These cylinders are specially designed and rigorously tested to withstand high pressure, prevent leakage, and comply with international transport regulations such as the IMDG Code, acting as reliable vessels that bridge production with global application.
