BOG generated from LNG refueling stations and L-CNG refueling stations is drawn from the vapor pipeline at the top of the storage tank and fed into the methane condensation heat exchanger on the cold head side of the Stirling cryocooler. The BOG is condensed into LNG at a temperature range of 110~130 K. Helium is used as the refrigerant, adopting a closed-cycle inverse Stirling refrigeration cycle. The liquefied LNG flows into a cryogenic buffer tank, and is pressurized by a cryogenic piston pump before being sent to the LNG storage tank.
• The Stirling cryocooler is the only core rotating equipment of the entire skid. It operates on an inverse Stirling cycle with helium working fluid in a closed loop, without conventional refrigerants (fluorine-free and zero leakage risk).
• The system adopts PLC automatic control. The equipment can run automatically with one-touch start-up. Real-time operating data can be viewed on-site, and remote monitoring is supported. It features simple operation and a high degree of automation.
